24 BOSS WALKS

Joel Surnow, who created 24 with Robert Cochran, has decided to leave the production to develop other series.

Wonder what's gone on there....

DAY ONE REVISITED

The historic first season of 24 is being re-released on DVD with more than three hours of features, including extended episodes, a new making-of documentary, deleted scenes and an alternate ending to the season finale. The new special edition set will hit stores on March 20.

DEATH OF CURTIS CRITICIZED

In a list of television’s 10 most “ignoble” deaths, New York magazine criticizes the death of Curtis Manning as being unworthy of the greatness of the character. Noting that “24 kills off its characters with a bloodthirstiness that is positively Transylvanian” the article adds that “Curtis’s grisly passing and entirely out-of-character final moments are quickly forgotten, and the poor b*stard is hardly mentioned at all.”
